Elfin Magic & La Carnivale Aurores Boreales

Bonjour mes amis!

I've been soooo filled with art love, indulging in the studio quite a bit.

Skyping with the beautiful Cameron of Paint Myself Pretty.

I have new art to share since I've been stirring up a storm with paint!

I even delved into the mixed media a touch.

"La Carnivale Aurores Boreales"

Mixed media on robin's egg blue painted pages from a romantic poetry book.

And... "Snowflake", for a little bit of elfin magic.

And "Pearl of Starfish Lagoon"

"Mermaids are dark and dangerous creatures in touch with all things mysterious" - Peter Pan

And puppy love!!!  This is Buster :)

And Quincy!! Quincy loves Buster more than anything :)

I also wanted to mention that you may notice the empty swap page on the left side of my blog.  Soon I will be adding pieces to it that will be available to swap or to be placed in my etsy shop upon request.  Keep an eye on my blog for when I will be updating it!

I have done a bit of renovating and have moved my portfolio to flickr.  The link is in the sidebar.  I've also added the link to my Youtube for anyone who would like a direct link to all of my musical endeavouring.

And finally, I have added the link to my personal facebook page in my pages list on the left side of my blog.  Please feel free to add me as a friend!  We are friends in the blogging world, I don't see why we can't be facebook friends as well!

Lots of love,

You have been a very busy Miss! La Carnivale Aurores Boreales is wonderful, I think it's one of my favourite paintings of yours so far.

I tried the facebook link but I couldn't get it to work? :-(

The swap idea sounds brilliant!

You can never have too much elfin magic when it comes to painting, I always say. Beautiful work!!!!
Your fur babes are such cutie-pies. There is nothing like a daily dose of furry love!
Have a great day.
Always, Queenie

Hi Miss Jennifer! I love your collages, they are totally charming.

And I agree- I prefer the beginning of the Alice in Wonderland movie too.

Yay! Love how the carnivale turned out!

Your touch of glitter on Snowflake was not as heavyhanded as I was lead to believe....haha!
....and your mermaid is, indeed, mysterious ;P

My painting from our fun little date is still in the same stage of incompletion with pupil-less eyes as she was left at our goodbye.

So hard to steal time away with the family home....

We'll need to set up another date, it's just too fun to be arty and silly with you :)

Hope you had a lovely Christmas! Can't wait to hear how the gifts went over....

Biggest hugs,
