You & I Are Just Beside Ourselves With the New Year & All the Plans We've Made

Hello beautiful friends!

I hope everyone had a glorious holiday.

As many of you know, this time of year is for rest, contemplation, and quiet.  This is the dark time of the year.  Winter.  I find my mind finally shutting up.

The growing pains and aches of the past year have subsided, it's time to be quiet, rest, feel safe.

All is calm now.

Some of the friends and people I went into 2012 with will not be by my side in 2013.  But that's ok.  We all have our separate paths and journeys to embark upon.

I feel a renewed sense of pursuing my magical, spiritual path.  No more putting it aside.  Take me or leave me, this is who I am.

Sweet lovely things I've gifted and been gifted.

And I lovely new song.  That expresses how I've felt this December.  My month to end this heck of a year, my peaceful month.

Love and blessings to you all,

Keep an eye open for the grand opening on my swap pieces section coming soon!

Hi Jennifer,
So glad you had a wonderful Holiday!
January and February have never been my favorite months, but I have been working on making it more pleasant.
I am hoping to explore my spiritual path this upcoming year ~ whatever that is! I'm just going to follow my heart and see where it leads ~
Sending you lots of Happy New Year's hugs))
Oh, and I LOVE your room!!

Thank you dear Jenn for stopping by and wishing me a lovely New Year!
May your New Year be blessed in your spiritual endeavors...a very magical choice!
The carved box is beautiful. At one time I wanted to be a wood carver of fine things...I have wanted to do many things in life, but it does seem to get busy with other things. I like your thoughts of rest and peace for this time of year.
much happiness to you for a lovely New Year's beginning.
I just finished reading 'The Hobbit' for about the sixth time, and did go see the marvelous movie.

It sounds just like the best thing that you would come here to Europe. I would then show you all the magickal places that are here. Strange churches, secret society buildings, old and crumbling buildings.
And happy new year Jennifer!
This year has been a year for me too to return to the magickal and spiritual path.

No, let's not cower from our true paths any longer :)

Other bloggers and artists have chosen words for the New Year to focus on and set the tone....the word that keeps coming to me is Intuition.

Let's trust in our own inner whispers ;)

Your home is the most magical ever. I´m so intrigued by these pictures. And as for talking in tongues- such a strange thing. There is nothing spiritual about it at all I feel..

Lovely to have you visit my blog! It reminds me to keep in touch with cyber friends like you! Thank you for your pictures: Your room is so wonderfully bohemian, cozy, magical, filled with who you are and who you celebrate that you are. Wish I could close my eyes and be transported there :-) Wait a minute...I can!

Your giftings are the mocassins, the plushy you're poking, the carved wood box.

So glad you had a lovely holiday. And now I wish you a very Happy New Year, may 2013 be a time of discovery, and also of giddy laughter, which makes the heart lighter!

Oh, also thanks for introducing me to "Snow" by Jenn Labelle. Really beautiful.
