Where Wishes Come True

Hello dear friends!

I am back from my week spent in beautiful, sunny Florida, fortunately one of the places us fairytale lovers cherish most.

Oh and I have many pictures :)

First we went to Universal Studios, where they have the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.  I know most of you know I'm an absolute Potterhead (golly I hate that term.)  This was AMAZING for me to see.  Unfortunately I didn't get to go before they finished expansion which is meant to include Diagon Alley.

Everything was amazing (how touristy do I look in the photo below?) I actually teared up a bit when I saw the hologram image of Ron, Harry, and Hermione talking on my tour through the castle.  It was like seeing old friends.

Now I'm 21 years old, and I LOVEEEE all things fairy tale, but I've never been to Disneyworld. We went to Florida when I was 12 but I was feigning cool kidness at the time and Universal Studios was the place to go.  Needless to say, mum and I alone went to Magic Kingdom and I felt like a little girl.

In this one store a lady sprinkled pixie dust in our hair!

And of course I was dying to visit the Haunted Mansion.  It was something I always have wanted to do especially since I love the movie so much, and you know me, I always like some spook mixed in with my magic.

And what's a vacation without making some purchases?  I bought loooooots of clothes, my goodness things are less expensive in Florida.  Except potato chips.  Can anyone confirm, are they about $4.50 a bag throughout the United States?  They're about 3 dollars here...

Yes yes, I bought two pygmy puffs at Harry Potter and have caged them both MWAH HA HA!

And a couple of weeks ago I celebrated my 21st birthday.  This was my cake.  No big birthday post like last year but I assure you, it was lovely.  I just left for Florida a couple of days after it.

Vacations are wonderful but home is the best.  Especially since the hot Florida sun left me with severe prickly heat and I missed my love too much!

Love you muchly, will be back soon with a VERY special introduction.

Happy (belated) birthday!!! I'm sooo glad you got to go to such wonderfull, magical, imagination places for this very special birthday. I too would probably we all teary eyed at Harry Potter's world. So, I wonder if pygmy puffs are like rabbits and you will soon have to get a bigger cage for all of them to live in? :o)
Have a really great day.
Always, Queenie

Happy Belated Birthday!!
I've never been to Universal ~ but would love to someday. I've been to Disney World several times ~ in fact I was there the first year they opened ~ 1970 something. Ah, I guess that ages me a bit!
Love all your goodies, especially the princess globe. My favorite princess is Belle and I just adore Tinkerbell.
Oh and my son worked at Disney last year!

Hope you had a fantastic Birthday, Jenn Love! That cake is just too awesome....your 2 sides?!

I've only been to Disneyworld once myself....I'd love to take Maggie there one day. You have to come out here and see the Haunted Mansion in Anaheim....especially at Halloween/Christmas when they turn it into A Nightmare Before Christmas!

So glad you are back again! LOve the pictures out the airplane window!
