Owls, Crystal Balls and Babies?!

Hi friends,

Long time no talk.

Do you ever feel like this blogging world is dwindling?

I've been a bit concerned lately.  Do stop by and tell me you're still out there, I love you all dearly and don't want you to go anywhere!

I must admit in your absence I've started a collection...

Crystal balls!

Yes yes, the Halloween sorcery, witchery and fortune telling is in full swing.  What else could one expect from such an October time!

In fact, my shop is brimming with witchy spell goods!  Enchantments and spells, if you wish me to cast one!  Or perhaps you would like to know your fate?  Many different types of fortunes are available too!

And this sweet face:

Minerva and Her Owl, a new creation of mine.

Available in my sweet shopling!  Always available for a good etsy swap too!

Oh I must let you all know I have created a Broomsticks and Lace facebook page.  Here is the link!

Once a get a few likes I'll update it with daily happenings, as we all know these darn blog posts are few and far between these days.

I must introduce you to the most special one of all though!

Just a few precious weeks ago, I became a step aunty.

Meet Madelynn Amelia.

Isn't she gorgeous? I promise to spoil her silly and buy her lots of pink things!

So much love to you all,

Dear Jennifer! I´m also thinking sometimes that the blogging world seems to be dwindling perhaps a bit. Maybe it´s pinterest and instagram and things like that, that are the cause? What a lovely blogpost, you have the most beautiful and magickal home and you are such a creative woman. And congratulations on becoming a step auntie! Much love from me to you!

Hello Jennifer, I am still out here though I haven't written a post for Here In A Fairy Sigh in months. Guess life ran away with me and I got caught up. I still get on to see how others are doing though. Play with the idea of updating the blog.

Congratulations on the new step wee one!!! What a sweetie-pie she is.
Yes, I think blogland is being squeezed by all the other social media that is easier and quicker. Oh well, I'm still hanging in there.
I really like your crystal ball and your new painting is wonderful!
Have a great day.
Always, Queenie

I don't feel like that at all actually :) but I think that one has to blog and comment on many posts every week to keep up in the blog world. I also think that one has to reach a certain amount of readers before one has a steady place in the blogosphere. Blogging just takes much more work and time than other 'instant' pages!

Hi Jenn,

Your crystals are lovely. Congratulations on your sweet little niece.
I feel that way about blogging too sometimes. Some of my old blogging friends have left. And then sometimes there is a peak and valleys with people commenting as well.

Now, I'm off to look what you have at your shop.

Hello Jenn, MY Dear!
I'm so sorry....I am one of those fading Bloggers....and I hate that I am not the only one :(

I see your world is as magical as ever! Minerva is as sweet as can be and I'm so happy to hear that your shop is doing well!

Congratulations, Auntie Broomstick! She is gorgeous!

I will be back with a new post sooner than soon....but I wanted to make sure I checked in with my friends. I have not forgotten about you!

Big, super duper, giant hugs!

Jennifer, sorry I'm late responding back to you. Warner Instant Archive is great if you like old classic movies. Netflix has a wider variety of movies. It depends on your choice. We subscribe to both of them.

Firstly, congratulations! Secondly, it seems to be a very busy blog party time, maybe that's where everyone is? Thirdly, oh, yes, Halloween! Perfect for a crystal ball collection. Fifthly, I'm going to check out your facebook! Halloweeny blog hugs!

Thank you for your sweet comment.

I know sometimes people don't take the time the comment. Recently, I changed the setup on my blog list, and now I see when people update, and that reminds me to comment. I checked to make sure you were there!

I love your crystal ball collection and your new creation the girl with the owl. Congratulations on becoming an aunt.

Hi, Jenn
I also feel that blogging is dwindling. I think a lot of it is due to the economy and the discouragement of various government systems all over the world. It's like we don't know from one day to the next what is going to happen and that can be very stressful to anyone.
I still try to keep up on my blogging, but had a set back, of sorts as I had to have a spot of cancer on my forehead surgically removed, so I haven' felt the greatest and my house work has suffered a lot. So it is my menial tasks which have kept me from blogging as much. But I have my faithful bloggers, like your sweet self, who stay in touch, so that is okay too.
Love all of your spooky photos! You are really into the 'spirit' of things for sure!
Thank you for stopping by!
