A Fanciful Twist Mad Tea Party 2014 "A Forest Fairy Tea"

Hello friends!

Welcome to the annual A Fanciful Twist Mad Tea Party!

I have to admit, I did not host this tea party myself.  It was more something I stumbled upon…

Perhaps a little mood music for my tale!

As I was walking through the woods today…

Elfin skirts and jewels adorned me ;)

Along my usual path..

I spied a giant pocket watch out of the corner of my eye…  25 after 3, why it's time for tea!

As I followed the path I came upon a picnic basket…

So I continued to follow the path through the trees...

What I saw through the trees was the strangest thing.. a toadstool table with a tiny teapot!

Had I stumbled upon a fairy tea time… deep in the Northern woods?

Next to the toadstool table there was a lace table cloth laid down in the moss, with a whimsical teapot and cup!  It was quite strange and I'd never seen anything like it on my journeys through the woods.

The strangest thing about it is that when I closed my eyes and opened them again..

The clearing was empty of any trace of teapots or toadstools!

And off this little hobbit went home, knowing well that it does not do to mess with fairy affairs!

Thank you to Miss Vanessa at A Fanciful Twist for hosting her annual Mad Tea Party!  Please do hop over and check out everyone's beautiful posts and pictures!

I will be making my visits on Sunday, so I will see you all soon!

Love,
Jenn

Love my stroll through the woods, I'd have love to stop for some tea but agree it's wisest to leave the fairies be. :)

Love the Music, Love the woodland walk. It was all very Alice, don't you know. The clock made me grin, but clocks do that, they do. Thank you for the invitation and please, should you stumble out of the woods, feel free to attend my own little soiree. My Card!

The woods you live so near to are breathtaking...and I see the fae visited you for the Mad Tea Party. It's just like the fae to be visible and invisible, they love to tease us humans! Yes! It's best you didn't sip any of the enchanted tea, or you may have been dancing your feet off for the rest of eternity with the Fairy King! I'm so glad your Hobbit sense made you scamper away!
I am late going around to everyone's parties too!
Ta! Ta! my dear!
Have a lovely Mad Tea Party weekend!

Oh, my! I did love walking along that lovely path.

I have to say I would not be quite honest if I came across that lovely pink teapot. I would be trying to figure out ways to sneak it out to bring it home with me.

Fabulous choice of music for us to listen to as you walked into the forest! You were very brave to get so close to the fairy tea --that tea pot is beautiful, the clever kind that both brews the tea and then becomes a cup to hold the tea! THAT is definately fairy magic and you were wise to walk back, when all had suddenly vanished...this was wonderful and Thanks for visiting my own Tea Party and reading Alice's new little chapter, hahaha!

Such a wise woman. Free fairy food can be so costly... and who knows about tea. ;-)

I love how the music lead me through the woods. Dear me, to find tea laid out in the open, so tempting! But you know you must never eat things you find in fairy woods, no matter how tempting they might be. Think of all the trouble Alice found herself in, just because he would drink and eat everything that invited her to do so. Silly child!

What a lovely path to the party. I should take pictures of my yard when it's more green. Now it's all dirt since we're in a drought. It's still magical though. It was too hot the day of the party so we ate indoors and had iced tea. I normally prefer my Earl Grey. :)
